Thanks! Bruce: do you have a table saw? You could make a gazillion passes on the table saw and do it that way, ...or less passes with a dado set. Or you an build with the bottom of the box as the soundboard, that's supposed to work pretty well & sound good.
Very nice! I just got one of those boxes and love they way they look . I do not have a router anymore so will try either chisels or get a convex spokeshave. LOve the look of this one!
