The old box lid with braces and blocks added. A cool print of a sailing ship had to be sanded down and glued over for the bracework. Spruce and mahogany for the braces and blocks.

    Thanks Uncle, i meant to shoot a pic of the bottom of the box showing the neck block and attachments, but didn't. Too late now as she's glued up tight. I alway can't wait to glue the top on the box. ....
