Thanks Gary, Wish i could take credit for the cloud Mother of Pearl. It's part of an old Mahogany Asian tray that was incrusted with MOP. It was falling apart and many of the pieces of mop had left it. It has graced many of my box guitar builds. I'm down to two little pieces like this to use for a good box....
This title had me intrigued. A 'mop' made sense with a sea captain's box, as sailors are always swabbing decks! Then I realized.... Mother Of Pearl.... Nice job, Dave!
