This thing is a lot of fun to play. I didn't think it would be, but they are. If I sell this, I may have to make another for myself.

    Yes the round disk is a pickup. Scatter wound shaped my me. that's also one fat solid piece of wood with wells hogged out for electronics. The meter doesn't do anything... it did.. but then I dropped the meter. So... it's not hooked up anymore since it won't work.

    The wire just looks neat. It's leftovers from a few pickup mishaps. Need to do something with that pricey copper.

    Absolute style genius!! I love everything about this! Does the wire in the glass vile do anything or is it jus to look cool?

    UNCLE FESTER,,,i mean jimmycakes....this is a awsum whatsumacallet!!!i presume the round disc is the pickup....wired by you??? it looks like a volume control knob...i have no idea what the gague is for...either a self destructing bomb or possibly a metal detector...looks very interesting...nice original build...when can we hear it...thanks....willardj
