My first uke in progress. 35cm scale, beech neck, mahogany (I think) fretboard, buffalo horn nut and Rocky Patel box. Got some sound holes coming, guitar type machine heads and gonna add a piezo and volume control. Not sure about bridge or how to attach the strings back there yet.....?

I wondered what that unusual cigar box was in the background. Then I realised it is a laptop. I need to get out more. Looks very neat. Could the fingerboard be teak? If the colours in the photo are right it doesn't look quite red enough for mahogany, but I'm no expert. Very nice work either way.
