The one on the left has just two strings right now. Found out you can't tune a .009 gauge string to high G..............

    This is how I did it.  Modify the mandolin tailpiece per Gitty's suggestion, then feed the saddle's screws through the holes:

    How do they mount? Doesn't look like much hardware for the tension of the strings... never used them before so I have no experience with them.

    You can find them on eBay real cheap. http://cgi.ebay.com/BLACK-Guitar-Bridge-Saddle-Fits-USA-TOP-QUALITY...  or http://cgi.ebay.com/GOLD-Guitar-Bridge-Tremolo-Saddle-Strat-Style-I... I had some black ones laying around so used them, for the same reason you said.  I'm going to change them out for gold as soon as I can.

    where did you get the bridge/saddle units? totally need something like that on my current build as real estate is somewhat limited on the oliva box

    Yup.  Modified 'em just as his suggestion.  The one on the right has a regular bridge (with a brass bolt saddle).  The one on the left has 3 stratocaster style bridge/saddle combo units.  (The box on the left is a little shorter and a regular bridge would have been under the tailpiece cover)  BTW - they both sound great, a lot louder acoustically than I thought they would be!
