  • That's great, Bill. There's so much art in CBG building. I have to run an art course throughout this school year and my 13-year-old students asked me to build a CBG that would make a lot of noise - but now they've changed their view and see the guitar as a medium to put their creative enthusiasm into. So we can use them as pieces of art as well as guitars for music lessons to play 12-bar blues patterns.

  • Thorsten,

Thanks for the comments. The beads actually prohibit the strings from making much sound at all. It is all show and no sound. It was intended as an art piece but it lead me to making CBGs.

  • I wonder if the strings sound good with the beads - but design is perfect, the idea and building skills outstanding! Cheerio!
