  I was going to put the volume & tone pots on the opposite side of the fretboard, and mount the phono jack on the bottom side somewhere- still waiting for the wiring harness to get here

  Thanks, Uncle John! I'll do some fine sandpaper work after I get some rest don't want to push it when I'm tired- that's about the finest filing work I've done!
