  • Thanks! I appreciate the tip!

  • Sorry Scott Im a bit touchy here lately. Im trying hard to make a very nice guitar and the pressure is getting to me and I shouldnt let it. Thanks

  • I position the bridge most of the time 3 inches from the end of the box to insure that there is enough tension over the bridge. This one ended up a little more but thats ok. The closer to the center you are the more acoustic sound you will have but there will be more give in the top so 3 inches is best. Pine is normally a good acoustic wood and that is the biggest factor with acoustics what it is made of. The big pickup in this one takes away a lot of its acoustic sound and the sound hole covers. If you want a good sounding acoustic less is more and build it as light as possible.

  • Sweet looking build! I have a question for you. I like that bridge position. Was that positioned there to give you max acoustic volume or some other reason? I ask because a friend of mine wants a true acoustic CBG and I'm looking at bridge positioning for max volume.

  • The question was not meant to mock or offend. Rather to confirm whether the photo was playing tricks on my eyes, or if, in fact, it was off a bit.

  • Thats a modified first act from walmart. :)

  • Nice. I like the head on this one
  • Just for shits and giggles I checked it again with my layout and unless the computer print out is wrong then the frets are right. Your welcome to ride to starr and check it for yourself since you want to be fret judge.

  • Maybe its a blur in the picture or something I checked it again looks fine to me.
