Toshiba Transistor radio Amp

I bought this Transistor radio sight unseen yesterday off the web with the intention of hacking it to make an amplifier. It was not working ( missing battery compartment top) and the station indicator was broken. Ten minute fix and an improvised battery contact and it works great. Best result - no need to hack as it has a phono input jack. Not loud but what great tone. Twin speakers!

    I try to do one every four or five cbg builds. Always keep an eye open
    for suitable radios. This one was too easy!
