The grill is tiger maple. I used a drain cover as a drilling template. I've made several now of different drains. This is the biggest pattern of dots yet. Now my template is wearing out. There's a plate of tiger maple under the soundhole to make a seat for the grill and a cleat for strength. The bridge is honey maple and sanded to shape on my belt sander. It is compensated.
