I made this in Saudi Arabia, Jeddah for a Sheik. Is 4 meters in diameter, 2 meters high a demisphere. Roughly 7000 pieces of glass Tiffany tecnic. Has no metal frame, I think that is unique in this world.

I live on the delta :-) of the Po river, the biggest of itay. Exactly I live in Mesola, if you take a look on google hearth will see a rinascimental castle. Here was Etruscan area, near me there is a museum with objects 2~3 000 years ago testyfing a level of crafthmanship imbelievable. That's why I love soldering, metals, stones, glass, everyting manual, not "digital". I use digital, but I'm proud to be analogic.
Thank You, Bluesheart. The most fantastic is that when I accepted the commission I have no idea if was possible to do such a thing. I love challenge. Obviously no way to ship it in a container, so I have to divide in sections. Just the packaging was a nightmare, I have to invent. Can You imagin tin soldering ovehead ? I have invented an easy way to do that without have a hot tin shampoo.
