Thanks. It is still a work in progress but it sound good and is suprisingly loud and I haven't even cut in the sound hole yet. The neck goes all the way through and has extra support through the body. The sound board makes contact with the neck under the bridge, a tiny spot at the neck and a tiny spot at the tail piece. This is only the 4th instrument I've built but the intonation is spot on perfect and the action works well for both fretting and slide.
i love working with those padron boxes. i usually just use the bottom as the soundboard, as most padron boxes have an floppy, unbraced, easy sinking top. how did you get around that weakness here?
