My cigar box uke obsession has taken over my other projects. I currently have soprano and tenor box ukes hanging on a rack in my shop while the finish cures. The Davis 1886 box in this image is presently being converted into a concert uke. The Awful Bills box, also Redwood, is being converted into a tenor uke, and the Spanish Cedar Don Tomas box is being converted into a baritone uke. I better stop here, because I'm running out of room.

Thanks John. I removed the thick, heavy plywood back from the Don, and replaced it with Western Red Cedar. Likewise the Awful Bills had a plywood back, and is being replaced with Redwood. The lids with the graphics on these boxes are going to be the back of the finished instruments.
