Randy, I restrained myself from saying anything before. I'm glad you making a new bridge. That beauty on there will go better on some other guitar. It's a bit too fancy for this one.
I`m going to make a new rod bridge for it as that one doesn`t fit the vintage look I was after...I`ll save that one for an upcoming Deco build. As I am not a guitar player I am going to sale this one, haven`t sold a build in over 7 years. But need to start thinning the herd....lol
You did that box proud and nearly perfect. Good top to bottom, but the tailpiece and box are my faves. What will you do with this? Looks like a keeper.
The fret markers were bone rods that I sliced long ways. Then cut at 1/4" lengths glued in pockets. I like doing fret markers like that cause they can be seen fro the side as well as the top.
