The Ventilator headstock

Had to make the best of the old headstock using available tuner holes and drilling a new one. Needs a string tree now on order!

    Hi Tom, i use Ronseal Hardglaze "very tough"  Polyurethane gloss varnish (oil based) for the finish, goes on and dries nicely (water based varnish brings out the Oak grain in lumps and dries a sort of milky look).

    One coat for the box, two or three for the neck, headstock and tailstock, goes ok on paper too..(-:
