The Tablecaster

After building many CBGs, this is my first full size electric guitar. It's basically a copy of an Epiphone Les Paul with respect to most of the specs. The body is my old dining room table (hence "tablecaster"), with a zebrawood cap. I hand carved the neck out of Birdseye maple (rosewood fretboard). While it is by no means perfect, it plays decent and sounds great. Plus the zebrawood is simply to die for (I put on 3 coats of Tru Oil for a nice matte finish). For a first try, I'm pretty pleased.
