I did seal with MinWax oil-based polyU. I love this stuff. She'll be a 4 string.

    That's coming along nicely Wes. That poly sure makes it shine. I really like your choice of wood for the bridge.

    Oh, and the bridge is made of African Makore (had some handy) and the saddle is olivewood from pen stock I was using to make crosses. I love the decal. Embossed, colored. I have it all sealed with MINWAX Fast-Drying PolyU Clear Gloss (NOT water based, solvent based). SKU2742623000 in case you can't find it. I could not find a type number. This stuff is GREAT. use a cheap hair brush (remove lose hairs first) and don't be too shy. It dries well and does not pool too much. I put it on sometimes it looks like decoupage but dries thin. Keep it moving and level as not to run/drip. I also use a hair dryer to get it to a tack point quickly -- eliminates runs.
