The Next Stop

My son Jasper and his mates have cleaned out the big space at the back of my huge machinery shed , I gave him all the old stage lighting I had from years of playing in bands and lots of old Amps n drum kit ,so last night we were invited to watch them play ... Wow loud n proud for sure . Well done my boy keep it up .

  • Thanks Gary how have you been mate haven’t seen you on the nation lately hope all is well , yes Dave it took a bit work with all the tractors , trucks and logging gear moved onto the new bigger buiding , we call this the dungeons it has a natural rock wall of basalt 40 to 50 feet tall when my Father built it back in the 50,s late 60s he used this area to make coffins and furniture in .

  • Thanks UJ and Dennis I’m sure they do play to enjoy John there always practicing and some of Jaspers lyrics in one of there songs and I quote “you say that we are so lazy ,you say I’m so useless ,unemployment is getting us nowhere so I’m making money with my music . He’s 14 and the world at his feet ,next we are having a recording studio set up with the rest of my gear I’m so glad I stored it all away .

  • That's great mate I know he's going to be in music he's doing a after school work in McCann's music store in Hobart looking for a space in sound engineering as well .
