More by accident than design! It is pretty loud - as loud as my thru-neck 'standard' box anyway. The box really resonates, which is suprising as I glued an fairly hefty frame in there to support the bolt on neck and tail. I wondered if building on the bottom of the box helped there? The overlaps onto the top of the box maybe helps a bit, and I also glued the bolt on bits too so I guess that helps a little. Currently having sound issues when plugged in though, so Il more than likely pull the piezo out and put a single coil in
I especially like the fact that you brought the fretboard and tailpiece over the top of the box. Soundhole design is cool as well. Do you get enough volume out of it, just curious if the bridge location allows enough vibration of the top.
