I don't like doing things that I am absolutely sure will work. Lol. I have had to tweak almost every build, but I like it. Maybe more than regular assembly.
It is not very forgiving. That tin makes it squeal if I don't set the slide down just right, but I'm getting used to it. It sounds great plugged in. I had to move my piezo off of the resonator; it was pretty bad. Now I'm happy with it.

Yeah man. I tried to plan out every detail of one git. I never built that one. Lol. I like winging it.
Good way to be and some times I can get in that fine tuning mode. I love the joy of just seat of the pants building.

I got the plate off of the mobile home too. I've never seen one like it; must be 30+ years old.
It's a folgers coffee can bottom that I found already taken off and waiting to go on a guitar. It's probably older than me.
