That is pretty cool. Man, you need to really think out what the rest of the git will be.. Calls for something special.
Would be cool to do the headstock in the same, maybe... Or use the material as fret markers- probably going fret to fret at the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th and 12th... Maybe too much. Hope you get a big winner.
