The First. We'll call it Aslan

My first build. The neck is sapele and the fret board and nut is zebrawood. After a mistake on the scarf joint and a mis-cut on the box, I ended up with a scale length of 23 inches and a slight (but not enough) back angle on the neck. I ended up going with a diatonic scale.

    I like a bit of back angle.  But I know some top builders who don't use any and their stuff plays great.
