Thanks JB, glad you like them. Steal away! :-) they look pretty cool but dont really stay in tune that well. you have to keep tightening the nuts so you need to keep a 13mm spanner on you.
That is a really awesome idea. I have some really small coins from Portugal ive been thinking of insetting as inlays in the neck. I think this would go great with it. I might have to steal your idea, hope you don't mind. :) I love seeing homemade tuners instead of store bought guitar tuners. I think it really adds personality to the guitar. I've been using mostly eye-bolt tuners, a bit clumsy but I've gotten used to them. I just hate to go buy something when I could just dig around in the garage and make them outta random stuff myself. Great job man.
Over the top!? Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I reckon its a good thing ;-). It stays in tune pretty well but i do need a 13mm spanner handy from time to time. I'll stick a vid of it on Youtube soon along with another newly completed CBG.
Cool thanks for adding this pic , they sure are a cool idea , even better you defaced the Queens head nice one !! lol!!
