Medium brass frets look great. The inlays were pretty tricky. I had decided the inlays had to be gold. It took forever to figure out how to do it. I used a fine gold transfer; similar to gold leaf. To get all the dots the same size, I hole punched some double sided tape dots and put them in position. then transferred the gold onto them. To make them durable I had to encase them in lacquer. I can't tell you how many coats of lacquer I put on that fingerboard. But it worked. They look superb and I'm sure they'll hold up just fine.
