Test of new system

Just a photo repeat to see if my new system works right. This is my Fender Champ rebuild with an Antiquity Seymour Duncan pup in her. C6 tuning and a great sound. New photos to come soon.

  • Hey Uncle John, sounds delicious. Bet Linda can cook. I was up to the garden again today and it was beautiful. I ground off the stickers on my slides and took photos. I'll post them next.... Dave

  • Hey, Dave.  We got frost before you did!   Surprising.     Got my garden out except a fall planting of turnips.   Linda made home made potato soup and fried green tomatoes and a cuke/and tomato salad this past weekend with garden stuff.

I used my tone bar from you this weekend.   Doing open E tuning on a six and enjoying it.   Seems intuitive after a few hears of IVI Cbgs.

    Will look for your slides.

  • We escaped frost in our garden. Picked beans, apples and mint today. We'll have butter beans in our pot roast tonight. I got a real nice batch of slides out of a firing on Wed. I've got to grind a bunch of them a little to get the wadding off. I have to put the little fellows on clay supports so they wont stick to the kiln shelving. This was a hot firing and the glazes touched many of my wads. The dremel will do the job. Just itching to show them. I've been playing this Fender with one of my new bigger Steven's style slides just out of this kiln. It works great. I also refired one of the slides that was my favorite to heal some scratches put in it from play. It worked  and it's back to smooth. These slides seem to be working out well. :^)

  • Sure looks classy good, Dave.   Frost here on Saturday....
