I've made a Tiger Maple control plate following the outline in the old finish. The body came with the two pups. The rest i've added. I just got the tailpiece in the mail today off ebay. Crusty, but serviceable. I sanded it and steel wooled it to death. I had the bridge base in my junk box. These spare parts all fit the old screw holes perfectly.

Notice the hole in the fretboard just below the 21st fret. Oops, in drilling out the screw holes for the neck fix, I did it. Right through.... Then i put oil in the holes to make the screw go in more easily. Of course that drained out of this hole. Nice oil finish on the fretboard... A little wood filler will do the job, or maybe a bit of bling or wood peg.... (.)(.)

Thanks Ron, old guitars are kind of like cigar boxes. The relics i get are like empty boxes with most of the parts missing. Like a shell to fill back up with gear and shine her up. Makes me happy to look at them.

Really nice, Dave! I'm liking what you are doing with these old Teiscos and such.
