  • Hi CMcG,

This is a great looking tear-drop fiddle. As I'm just getting into "bending wood", I have just started a tear-drop project of my own. I am at the point of wondering how to best join the neck to the body, so I was wondering if you had any build photos showing this joint, or any sketches, or maybe online sources or this info? Any advice would be appreciated. I plan to document my build on CBN, and so I'd like to include this photo of your fiddle. Hope to hear from you soon. In the mean time, I'll keep researching...

  • This is one GREAT fiddle! What I do when I make something I can't play, but want to make is to locate a player who can. Sometimes they won't give it back so I get a few bucks for it, and make another. Around here it is easy to find a real player....
  • Brother I'll tell you what you've done a beautiful thing here!I hope to make a Fiddle one of these days.
