I have cut the neck that goes inside the tin with a wood rasp. Boy, did that give me a work out.

    Hey Sylver, my three string CBG ---the strings are just about 1/2" apart. I don't know if that is right or not, but that is what mine are. Try it and see if you like it; if not move it until you do.
