Comment by OBSIDIAN on April 14, 2015 at 2:31am: Yep, the strings work great. The saddle helped me space the strings more accurately. I also drilled from the backside so those holes are all level even if they didn't end that way in front of the saddle.

My only complaint with this build is the pickup i put inside. The output is weak. I'm working on another in a similar style but using a humbucker that's higher end.
