    RTZ ,  witches  love  the  earth  .  this stain  is cider vinegar  and steel  wool,   ..  nothing  more  ..    not even a clear coat .  ;-)

    sam,   the  boards  are  1-4  inch  wall  board    on a 1x2  frame    . it  is semi  holllow  .

    I got away from clear coats and now use just walnut oil. No chemicals  the dog or kids can chew on
