  Another thing, the flaws in the wood are actual worm holes. I left the holes and the natural stains alone.

  I found a fretting secret. I used to trim the edges with a file. It did not seem to matter how I did it, I still got nicks on the fret board. So I tried using a small belt sander running along to length of the fret board. It bevelled the frets, smoothed off the brass rod inserts in the side of the fret board and left the side of the fret board ready for fine hand sanding. It's a cheap trick that works.

  The string height is even Rounding the bridge off around the offset fret gives an optical illusion. View the bridge at a certain angle it almost looks like it was made from a propeller.

  Great box, sound holes and I particularly like the look of the bridge - - but it looks like the string height is uneven there.

  When I lived up north, swamp donkey was a fairly common term for moose

  Looks great! But you call it a swamp donkey when it clearly has moose on it?!??!
