The cone hole is cut and the cover plate cut for a biscuit bridge. I'll add a ring of sound posts inside to support the cone. Sound holes to come on the cover plate.

I know Uncle. That's one good reason to make your own. Just since I started a few years ago, the prices have gone up big time. I think Winston will come out good. I'll put a pickup in the sound hole to get that Thunder sound out. I'll have a high action for lap slide play. I'll hardware the pup to the Jack and skip the controls. Much easier to wire that way. Also easy to test before installation.
Loving the look, Dave. Fingers crossed for a good sounding good player. I was looking at old gits on this order on ebay. Crap, between shipping and price, they have gotten pretty spendy.
