  • Thanks Kale! DIY tuners have always appealed to me but they have to work well. I explored the options years ago before my 3D printer, and concluded I didn’t have the tools or skills. I revisited it last year when Mike Simpson sent me a YouTube video of 3D printed traditional style tuners; I printed them and they didn’t work, but it got me thinking … so I took a fresh look at the problem. I get by with a little help from my friends!

  • Thanks Brian! The tuners actually work pretty good with fishing line which does not have near the tension of steel strings.
