Ha! I'm not sure if I'm going to make for a Stomp Box king myself but it's a fun project. At least you have the actual playing part down pat. I'm still trying to find chords in open D ;)
Thanks for the input. I think I'm just going to go with a volume pot for this and keep it simple. I can always add tone somewhere down the road if I really think I need it.
Ron, I have one I built with tone control and one without. I can't say the tone control added much. I wish I could use these stomp boxes, but I do a poor job of it. My best would be to stand up and stomp.
Thanks John. The hasp does actually. I can't say yet if I'm going to like it clanking away as you stomp but we shall see. I figured that a couple strips of stick back velcro hidden under the hasp will solve that if I don't like it.
Say, have you ever built or used one of these before? If so, whats your thinking about adding a tone control? I see that many do but not sure if I really need one or not. Not sure about the future but I'll probably run this into a dedicate amp that already has tone.

Looking good. That metal hasp movement might even add a bit to the sound.
