    John, it is a 25 1/2" scale 6 string dulcimer. Well it will be when I finish.

    Yes it is.   Fine job, Mr Cedar.  Great looking instrument.  But what will it be?   Looks like dulcimer fretting.  Man, I would like that as a long scaled mandolin!
