Stand up bass - details

Hi, not being able to afford a double bass, I decided to try building my own. The wood is recycled bed laths (cheap pine) with a flimsy Mercator cigar box. Bridge and nut is mahogany (I think) with bass guitar machine heads. Strings are strimmer line (bush cutter lines). Disc piezzo pick up for electric sound.
