James, my wife made the sign out of a piece of our old shed.
Uncle John, I rarely make anything but stick through. I made one last year and I'm working onto right now. If I ever finish them, I'll post some pics.
You are prolific. Love the sign. That one third from the end with the angels. I commented on that earlier. I think I have a box like that. I am a in a building mood, but do not need any more..... I might do a simple box through a bit l like yours. This is strange, but I have never done the single stick in the box thing.
