Sometime i'd like to try a sunburst on a build, but that's another time and type of guitar. I have a couple of arch tops with no finish on them to do someday. Thought i'd try a box guitar first for practice. I got three cans of lacquer. A yellow, red and tobacco brown. Might be fun... Tony took "Willow" to music tonight and everyone liked it. He played it like a drum. It has a good sound.
I could fib and tell you that's where i butcher pigeons, but no. Just trim paint. But my spirit fits the spot nice. Otherwise its blunt nosed, like my spirit.

Nice! There's just something special about the natural look of wood, I think it's the carpenter in me :-)
I like the natural. I've tried to pick contrasting woods. They darken a little with the rub on poly. It will age when it gets old.... :^)
Are you going to stain it at all or leave it natural?

That probably IS blood on the sawhorse.
Yup. Really adds some goodness.
