Corbie i just realized after looking at your photos that it was your head stock design that inspired me to come up with mine. I really like how it looks.
Wow ..... waste paper basket...... nice. Yeah I can see how stable the screen is. I have the copper insect screen, very expensive and when these rich people put a crease in it it gets swapped out for a new piece I grabed the old. Nearly brand new. This stuff can easilly go diagonal , you just have to be carefull. Thanks for the tip Jim.
Yes hot glue worked out great. This is actually a wast paper basket I cut up. I liked it because it was expanded metal in stead of woven stayed uniformed after cutting, put down some hot glue and pressed the screen right in it until it cooled down, seems to be very secure.

I like this mesh deal....... I have a lot of copper screen left over....... did you hot glue that in.? The whole thing is sweet
