Complete with black construction paper fret position markers (paper punch), eye bolt nut and bridge. Sounds very mellow and pretty loud considering the small size box.

  • We used shish kabob skewers. I believe they are bamboo. They work very well and cheep.

    alternative ?
    I heard that some box builders also use toothpicks instead of fretwire.

  • Thanks so much everyone! It turned out nice and I am very proud of him. He looked through quite a few pictures here on CBN before deciding on the design details. I did have to convince him use skewers for frets over un-cut nails!
