  • Do you build your amp? Would love info on electronics. Looking at the guitarfuel kit now...or some of the cheaper ones on cb gitty. Advice? Also, I am building my first with pickups, advice on distance from pickup to strings and pickup location? Thanks
  • Thanks Dave checked out your builds nice stuff take care.

  • I love the look of your boxes. I've been making my own boxes out of good luthier wood which works great. It adds a lot of building, but the results are very good. Your finish is great. It looks as nice as anything I've made. Thanks for the tips from your experience. That's what is so nice about CBN. Keep rockin... Dave

  • Dave i keep the paint on the lid but i sand the stamp off the back (or the guitar top) some times i use rubbing alcohol the cohiba boxs are thick so you can sand them.. When the stamp or the stickers upside down get rid of it. i like woodgrain. I call these Box Pauls i think they look better with one pickup. I use Walnut oil and lacquer on the top it blend well the the sides and the lid.

  • It sure is nice. Did you use rub on paint remover. I use it on old icky varnish jobs on vintage ukuleles. Sometimes you just have to get rid of ugly art....

  • Some real nice grain under the Cohiba paint. check the back off the guitar with the p-90.

  • Like Wes says. Very sharp. Great set. Love the wood and hardware...
