This is how the neck and body will look once they're fitted together. Fretboard is a tad high (thick piece of wood) I might use a piece of black 1/8" acrylic as a pickguard. My wife suggests that painting the body red with a black pickguard would give this tenor uke a little "edge". Hmmm...
