Thanks for the comments. I'll gladly post some pictures in a few days, there are only a few minor tasks to be done left. I gave 'er a shellac finish, today I finished the fretjob. I still need to do some adjustments and find a suitable set of strings.
I'm not quite sure, what to do with the back side - whether to close the drum from both sides (I kind of prefer this option, it might help me get rid of unwanted feedback when plugged in), or to keep the back without the skin - like a open back banjo. I'm sure it will have some impact on the accoustic sound, however I'm installing a pickup under the top skin anyway. What do you think, Bill?
