Different kind of build for me. A nice budget friendly 3 string fretless with a piezo pick up. I used fat strings on this one and was amazed how it plays without a slide. Is this due to the fat strings? What do you think?

Good to hear from you John just watched some of your last vids, keep them coming. I hadn't built any for several months I still work part time at a local historic property during the summer months so fall and winter or my prime build times. Just finished a cookie tin build last night and have another one in the pipeline along with 2 cigar box builds right behind that. I have another shop addition that includes a bathroom in the works. So, my winter is going to be a busy one. The wife and city say this is the end of shop additions. Take care and keep posting.
Nice. I think I have just built 2 this year and the most recent - like you - I went back to a simple fretless 3 with a piezo. That is how I started back around 2008 - but back then I had to take the piezo out of a doorbell.
