Sky Vue Drive In Amp, 2.5 a watt Artec amp, on/off volume w/ red led, original 4" speaker. The Sky View (they etched Vue on the speaker as did most of the drive ins back then) opened in 1954 and closed in 1985. I remember going there in the 70's and early 80's.

Thanks Batt! I'm not sure if we have any still open here or not? Kinda a shame really, I remember a lot of fun nights at the drive in. Something the younger generation will never get to experience :-(
Thanks Wes, this drive in was a great place to spend a warm summer night for sure. I found a shop in Omaha that has hundreds of these speakers from all the drive ins in the area so I am buying up as many as I can :-)
Absolutly Vin, we mounted an old Greyhound bus bench seat in the back of my Ford pickup and we'd back into the drive in stall and have a grand ol' time. Life was good :-)

yep backin in ..lol.....them was the days....
The Sky View was a big drive in back then at 1,122 cars that it could hold.
