equals this. As I said before, this build had more challenges than I expected. After I finally finished it up, I strung it and it sounded like pure ass. After spending some hours fine tuning it, and switching out some really crappy light guage strings for a set of 11's, I'm now very happy and excited about it. I was going to give it to whoever wanted it, but now it's part of the family.

Just getting everything to fit into a smaller area. And I had a little trouble with the intonation, getting precisely the right neck height, etc. It seems like the 3 and 4 strings that I've made from sctratch are a little more "forgiving". It all worked out well in the end and it sounds really good. Definitely better than the cheap strat copy I started out with. It's something I've been wanting to do...and now I did it. I doubt I'll do it again.
