    Hey all - sorry for late reply - crazy how Real Life gets in the way!

    The material is a piece of furniture grade leather; was actually a manufacturer's sample. The feather design was something my friend Dana had made - I copied it by hand, using a razor, a wood burner, and some white acrylic paint. Once paint dried, I put on a few coats of amber shellac to seal, and to age, the leather. CBG plays nicely, and gets travels frequently with Sr. Dana.
