On my original test piece I intended to only brighten the purple and not scorch it. However, the resin purple heart scorched very fast, especially on hard edges. Good thing I like the look! Tung oil really makes it pop.
Like it. Just got a butane pencil torch the other day, did not come with the fuel though. Need to go back. Going to use it on a sound board. May use it on the fret board also now.
