I picked up this cool leather raped box. Decided to go a little more detailed. The head and neck are from a solid slab of oak. Head stock is a little hard on the angle. The fret board is scavenged from a broken fender. Removed the board with an espresso machine rigged with tube and needle to the milk steamer. Formed the neck with a hand plain and rasp. String thorough the back of the neck and body. I still need to shave the neck and head stock and make a decent bridge. I'm still entertaining different pickups. Maybe I'll just go buy a lipstick pickup.
